BUK Remedial Science Programme Admission Form 2025

Bayero University, Kano (BUK) has opened applications for the Remedial Science Programme for the 2024/2025 academic session.

The programme prepares candidates for entry into degree programmes.

Admission Requirements

Candidates must meet one of the following conditions:

• Five O-level credits, including Mathematics, English, and relevant science subjects, in not more than two sittings.
• Three O-level credits, with a requirement to remedy the remaining subjects before gaining admission into a degree programme.

Absorption into Degree Programmes

Candidates who pass the remedial programme and meet the following conditions will be admitted into a degree programme:

• Five O-level credits, including Mathematics and English.
• BUK minimum UTME score.
• Candidates who pass but do not meet the UTME requirement may still be considered if granted a JAMB waiver.

Validity of Results

• Results from the remedial programme remain valid for two admission sessions.
• Candidates who pass but do not meet the O-level or UTME requirements may use the result for the next session.

Programme Details

• The programme lasts one academic session.
• There will be no interruptions during the session.
• The 2024/2025 session begins in May 2025.
• Candidates who complete the programme successfully may proceed to a degree programme in 2025/2026.

• A non-refundable fee of N5,000 is required to access the online application form.
