The Vice-Chancellor of Lagos State University (LASU), Prof. Ibiyemi Ibilola Olatunji-Bello, has approved the completion of the LASU Central Admissions Clearance (LACACA) for all newly admitted full-time undergraduate students of the 2024/2025 academic session. The clearance is required ahead of the matriculation ceremony on Tuesday, 18th February 2025.
LACACA operations began on Friday, 27th September 2024, and typically last a month. However, the deadline has been extended to Friday, 31st January 2025. Students who complete the process will be allocated matriculation numbers, eligible for fee payment, Health Centre registration, and collection of the GNS Compendium.
Students who fail to begin their LACACA operations by the deadline will lose their provisional admission. The University urges prompt action to avoid disruption to academic progress. The deadline will not be extended.
The Lagos State University (LASU) Central Admissions Clearance (LACACA) has begun for all full-time undergraduate students admitted for the 2024/2025 academic session.
To complete your admission, you must take part in the LASU Online Clearance Procedure through the LASU Central Admissions Clearance Application (LACACA).
This is an important step, as successful candidates will receive matriculation numbers, while unsuccessful ones may lose their admission offer.

Requirements for LASU Online Clearance
The LACACA process is managed by LASU Consult Limited.
All admitted candidates must pay the necessary clearance fee through the LASU e-payment portal.
Before starting the online clearance, candidates must have paid the acceptance, medical, and clearance fees.
How to Pay LACACA Clearance Fees
- Go to LASU e-payment portal.
- Enter your JAMB Registration Number in the “Matriculation Number/Application Number” field.
- Provide a valid email address and phone number.
- Click “Continue.”
Step-by-Step Guide for Completing the LASU Online Clearance
- Visit the LASU Website.
- Hover over the “STUDENT” tab and select “UG LACACA.”
- Enter your UTME registration number and surname, then click “Submit.”
- Complete the tasks on your dashboard, which include:
- Validating your bio-data.
- Verifying disability status.
- Uploading O’Level scratch card details.
- Uploading your original birth certificate.
- Uploading your UTME result slip.
- Uploading your JAMB admission letter.
- Uploading your scanned signature.
- Submit the application by checking the “I Agree” box and clicking “Submit.”
At this stage, your clearance status progresses to 20%, and university officials will review the documents you have uploaded.
It is essential to keep checking the progress of your clearance, as some documents may need additional attention or corrections.
Candidates requiring corrections will need to make payments through the LASU payment portal.
Once clearance reaches 100%, you can print your LASU Admission Clearance Certificate, and a matriculation number will be assigned.
The clearance exercise starts on Friday, September 27, 2024.
