Lead City University (LCU) Academic Calendar 2024/2025

Lead City University, Ibadan, has published the updated academic calendar for the 2024/2025 session. The schedule includes important dates for academic activities, examinations, and holidays.

First Semester Schedule

• January 27 – Resumption from Christmas and New Year break
• January 27 – February 7 – Lectures and revision
• February 4 and 6 – Matriculation
• February 10 – 26 – First semester examinations

Second Semester Schedule

• March 3 – Second semester begins
• March 24 – 30 – 20th anniversary celebrations
• June 4 – 20 – Second semester examinations
• June 30 – End of session

Summer Semester Schedule

• June 23 – July 25 – Summer lectures
• July 28 – August 8 – Summer examinations
• August 11 – September 19 – Long vacation

Note: The summer term is only for students admitted after November 15, 2024. No other students will be allowed to take summer examinations.

Start of the New Academic Session

• September 22 – Beginning of the 2025/2026 academic session
