The University of Benin, UNIBEN Admission List for the 2020/2021 academic session has been released and published online for checking.
WE are using this medium to inform the general public and all the candidates who applied for admission into the University of Benin, that the school management has released the first batch admission list of candidates who have been offered provisional admission into the institution for the 2020/2021 academic session.
All the Aspirants who participated in the Post-UTME Admission screening of Uniben and had check their scores are hereby informed that the admission list released has been uploaded online and you can check your admission status by following the guideline below;

How to Check UNIBEN Admission List
Update: University of Benin Admission List for the 2020/2021 Academic Session has been uploaded on the college’s portal. You can check your admission status by following the steps outlined below;
- Go to the UNIBEN Admission checking portal at; https://uniben.waeup.org/applicants/checkstatus
- Enter your Registration Number or Applicant Id and Surname in the spaces provided.
- Click on the “Submit” button to view your admission status.
Alternatively; You can also access the University of Benin Admission List via the JAMB admission status checking portal, follow the guideline below to check yours.
- Go to JAMB Portal @ https://portal.jamb.gov.ng/efacility/
- Login to your Jamb profile by entering your username and password in the required column.
- Locate and click the ‘Check Admission Status‘ tab. (scroll down to see it)
- Select your Examination year and Enter your JAMB Registration Number in the box
- Then, click on ‘Check Admission Status‘ to view your admission status.
Note to Admitted Candidates: Candidates are advised to also check their admission status on the JAMB website and click on the “ACCEPT” or “REJECT” to indicate acceptance or rejection of the admission offer.

I got 60 as my aggregate score in PUTME and I’m going in for Accounting in UNIBEN. I’ve tried checking JAMB and UNIBEN websites for admission, but it’s showing ‘sorry, no admission given yet’, and there is no person in Management Sciences that I know of have been given admission. When you were registered for the Uniben Post UTME. Didn’t you see this:
step 5: Enter your Surname exactly as written on the JAMB Registration slip and your JAMB Registration Number immediately, your ID and Password will be displayed on the browser.
Did you not save your pass/user?

On a serious note Jenny, please don't fret. You did well in your PUTME, but UNIBEN is among the most sort after Universities. Please keep checking and also buy JAMB 2016 Form as plan B.
