The Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), through its Institute for Development Research and Training (IDR&T), invites qualified members of the ABU community and external researchers to apply for affiliation as Research Fellows and Junior Research Fellows.
This opportunity offers a platform to engage in impactful research, participate in donor-funded projects, and collaborate with experts across multiple fields.

Eligibility for the Fellowship
To qualify for this programme:
- You must hold at least an M.Sc or equivalent in fields like social sciences, urban planning, or humanities.
- You should be a current or external staff member of any tertiary or research institution.
- You need excellent English language skills.
- You should have at least three years of research experience.

- This is a voluntary and unpaid position.
- Successful applicants will sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
- Fellows will be affiliated with IDR&T-ABU, Zaria for one year.
