At last, the silence is broken. Auchi Polytechnic has published the first batch of its National Diploma admission list for the 2025/2026 session. If you sent in an application earlier this year, the time has come to see where you stand. Some people have already rushed online, others are still scratching their heads wondering how to check. Let us walk through it carefully.
Checking Your Name on Auchi Portal
The process is quite simple, like buying a recharge card when you already know the code by heart. To know your status, do the following:
- Go to the Auchi Polytechnic admission list page.
- Pick the programme you applied for, usually ND.
- Select your department and the course of study.
- Tap Check Admission List and wait for the result to pop up.
That’s it. No stress. If you are applying for HND, there is a separate link for the Auchi HND admission list.
Using JAMB CAPS to Confirm
There is also another route. Admission details can be seen on the JAMB Central Admission Processing System, better known as CAPS. To check through JAMB, do the following:
- Visit the JAMB EFacility portal.
- Log in with your username and password.
- Scroll down until you see Check Admission Status.
- Select Access my CAPS.
- Click on Admission Status to view the update.
If you see Admission Still in Progress or Not Admitted, don’t panic. That message might change any moment. Keep checking from time to time.
Accepting or Rejecting Your Admission
For those who already see “offered admission,” the next step is easy. Use the phone number you registered with JAMB and send either ACCEPT or REJECT to 55019 or 66019. Once you accept, make sure you print your JAMB admission letter.

Once your admission is confirmed and accepted, move on to complete every requirement given by Auchi Polytechnic. Skipping a step or delaying could affect your space.
