Bayelsa Medical University Post UTME / DE Form 2025/2026
Bayelsa Medical University has opened its 2025/2026 Post UTME and Direct Entry application. Eligible candidates must meet the cut-off marks for their chosen course and complete the registration online with a ₦2,500 fee. All applicants are advised to update their details on JAMB CAPS before applying.
Bayelsa Medical University (BMU) has lifted the lid on its admissions for the 2025/2026 academic year. The gates are open, the conditions are out, and the call is clear for those hoping to join the school. Whether you dream of wearing a white coat or you simply want a future in sciences, this is the point where the process begins.
And like most things in Nigeria, there’s a catch, well not a bad one, just the rules you must meet before you can step through.
The Cut-Off Marks
The marks are set, and some are tall enough to scare, others are steady and reachable. Here’s the rundown:
- Medicine & Surgery (MBBS): 275
- Nursing Science: 230
- Pharmacy (Pharm.D): 228
- Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS): 211
- Radiography & Radiation Science: 211
- Optometry (O.D.): 184
- Physiotherapy: 181
- Other Programmes: 170
That last one is important, it keeps the door open for plenty of other courses.
Who Can Apply
BMU has kept the entry bar clear:
- A minimum score of 170 in the 2025 UTME.
- Applicants must be 16 years or older.
- At least five credits in O’Level, with English, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics all compulsory.
No shortcuts here. If you don’t have these, better to wait than waste the ₦2,500 fee.
The Steps To Take
Applying is fairly straightforward if you follow the path carefully:
- Visit BMU official website.
- Pick your programme, register, then activate through the email sent to you.
- Log in, fill the form, upload your documents, and pay ₦2,500.
- If BMU is not listed as your first choice on JAMB CAPS, quickly change that at a JAMB office or a licensed CBT centre/cybercafé.
And please, make sure your O’Level results are already on the JAMB system.
