BOSU opens remedial admission for 2025/2026 session

For some, the road into university isn’t always straight. Borno State University, Maiduguri, knows this, and now the door is open for its Remedial Arts and Science programmes. From Monday, 11 August 2025, the forms are on sale — and they will be until Saturday, 11 October 2025. That’s two months to decide, prepare, and take a step closer to a degree.

This isn’t a backdoor, but a bridge. The remedial route helps candidates strengthen their results before moving into full undergraduate study. It’s a way to get back in the race if you’ve missed the first gunshot.

Who can apply

The requirements are simple:

  • At least three credits in SSCE.
  • Interest in either Remedial Arts or Remedial Science.

If you fit, you’re in the zone to apply.

How to get the form

Here’s the process:

  • Visit the Remedials Unit at Borno State University, Njimtilo, Maiduguri.
  • Pay a non-refundable fee of N2,000 via the Remita payment platform using the name BORNO STATE UNIVERSITY REMEDIAL PROGRAMME.
  • Collect your form after payment.

Completed forms must be returned on or before Friday, 10 October 2025.

Questions or help

For many students, this could be the start of a bigger story. The chance is there, the clock is ticking, and as we say, opportunity no dey shout twice — you either grab it now or watch it pass.
