Federal University of Medicine and Medical Sciences, Abeokuta has opened applications for the 2025/2026 session. Candidates who meet the stated conditions can now apply through JAMB. Please read further to know the courses, cut-off mark, dates, and contacts.

So, the word is out. The Federal University of Medicine and Medical Sciences, Abeokuta (yes, FUMMSA) has thrown open its gates for the 2025/2026 academic session. Parents are buzzing, candidates are checking scores, and somewhere in Ogun State, plans are already in motion.

Who Can Apply

Let’s not waste time. Here’s the deal:

  • You must be at least 16 years old.
  • You must have written the 2025 UTME.
  • JAMB is still the only road to FUMMSA. So, candidates need to process a change of university on the JAMB portal.
  • The magic number is 200. Anything below, no entry.

Now, a small but mighty detail. For those chasing professional programmes like Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy and the rest, your five SSCE credits must all come from one sitting. No second chances here.

The Screening And What Follows

Post-UTME is the next hurdle. The school itself will handle the screening, after which the final admission list will climb onto the JAMB portal. That’s where letters get printed, dreams become real.

Dates to circle:

  • Final screening for admitted students, 25th to 29th August 2025.
  • Resumption, 2nd September 2025, right after fees are settled online.
