IBBU Post UTME / Direct Entry Form for 2025/2026 Session
Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University Lapai has opened its Post UTME and Direct Entry online screening for the 2025/2026 admission. The process runs from 10th to 28th September, 2025, and all eligible applicants must complete the stages online. Read further for step by step guide.

Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University, Lapai, has called on applicants who picked the school as their first choice in the 2025 UTME or Direct Entry to take part in the online screening exercise. The window opens on Wednesday, 10th September 2025 and closes on Sunday, 28th September 2025.
Only candidates who scored 150 and above in UTME and have uploaded their O’level results on the JAMB CAPS will be considered. Direct Entry candidates must add scanned copies of their Advanced Level results (IJMB, NCE, or Diploma). One point worth stressing, the A’Level NABTEB is not accepted for this exercise.
Steps in the screening process
The exercise is broken into three main stages. Each has its own path, so applicants should read carefully and avoid skipping details.
Stage 1 – Checking eligibility
- Enter JAMB registration number to confirm eligibility.
- Provide phone number and O’level results, with a maximum of two sittings.
- Supported exams include WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, and NBAIS.
- Enter result checker (scratch card) pins for each result.
- Generate a transaction ID or invoice for payment.
- The process attracts a fee of ₦2,000 only.
Stage 2 – Payment
- If Branch Collect is chosen, print the invoice slip and take it to any listed bank.
- If webPAY is selected, you will be redirected to the payment page for online transaction.
- Clear steps are given on the portal to guide candidates through.
Stage 3 – Result submission
- Once payment is confirmed, log into the portal with the details sent by SMS.
- Input results and other requested data correctly.
- Print out the acknowledgement slip for your personal record.

Key notes for candidates
- Giving false information will lead to outright disqualification.
- A maximum of two O’level results is allowed.
- Candidates without results yet can pick the Awaiting Result (AR) option but must provide them before admission ends.
- Any candidate who fails to complete the online screening will not be considered for admission.
The school has put the whole process on its IBBU portal for ease. Applicants are urged to work within the time frame and avoid rushing at the last minute.
