Apply for LASU Post UTME/Direct Entry Screening

Lagos State University (LASU) has begun its Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening for the 2025/2026 academic year. All candidates seeking undergraduate admission into the university must go through this online process. No shortcuts.

Whether you’re applying for 100 level via UTME or Direct Entry, this step is mandatory.

Who Can Apply?

You are eligible if:

• You picked LASU as your first choice in JAMB
• You scored at least 195 in the 2025 UTME
• You are 16 years or older by 1 October 2025

Also eligible:

• LASU Pre-Degree students who meet the same UTME and first choice conditions
• Direct Entry applicants with a LASU Diploma or NCE (only accepted into Education-related courses)
• Lagos State indigenes who have completed verification through the Independent Indigeneship Verification Committee (IIVC)

How To Apply

Step-by-Step Payment & Registration

1. Visit the LASU admissions page
2. Click on UTME/DE Screening
3. Log in with your UTME registration number and surname
4. Click Make Payment
5. Enter your details and pay for the screening fee
6. Return to the dashboard and begin your self-screening

Complete the Self-Screening

• Fill in personal details
• Select your course of study
• Enter UTME subjects and scores
• Input your O’Level results (up to two sittings)
• Upload your results on JAMB CAPS

Important: Courses like Medicine and Dentistry only accept one sitting. Engineering courses require six credits, including Further Maths for Aeronautics.

Check all entries. Tick the box to certify the information. Submit. Then download your screening report.

Deadline and Notes

• Application closes by midnight on 26 July 2025
• Re-screening or corrections after submission will attract extra fees
• Only results obtained on or before July 2025 will be accepted
