Other charges students should note
Students must pay some extra charges that support services and activities on campus. Each payment has its own account or channel.
- Uniforms and life vests are handled by the Consultancy Unit.
- Faculty dues go into the University Remita account.
- Departmental dues are also paid through the same University Remita account.
- Medical service fee: ₦5,000 covers the student insurance scheme.
- New Hostel accommodation: ₦80,000 paid into the New Hostel Remita account.
- Old Hostel accommodation: ₦60,000 paid into the University Remita account.
- SMS fee: ₦3,000 paid into the University Remita account.
- Students’ welfare insurance: ₦5,000 paid through the University Remita account.
- Sports dues: ₦10,000 paid into the University Remita account.
- Acceptance fee for all new 100 Level students: ₦70,000 paid into the University Remita account.
These charges help the university support student welfare, campus safety, health services, and hostel upkeep.
