OOU Opens 2025 Post UTME and Direct Entry Screening

Application Starts for 2025 Admission

Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU), based in Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State, has started its screening for the 2025/2026 academic session. Whether you’re applying through UTME or Direct Entry, here’s what you need to know to get it right from the start.

Who Can Apply?

For UTME Applicants

You can register if:

  • You chose OOU and scored at least 160 in the 2025 UTME.
  • You didn’t choose OOU but scored 160 or more, and you’re ready to switch OOU to first choice on JAMB. You must do this before you start registration.
  • You’ve uploaded your O’Level results to JAMB CAPS.
  • You’re a foreign applicant or have a disability. These two groups don’t need to sit for the screening test.

For Direct Entry Applicants

You’re eligible if:

  • You hold A’ Level, OND, HND, NCE, JUPEB, or a first degree, and have applied for Direct Entry to OOU through JAMB.
  • You finished with a Diploma from OOU and have also applied through JAMB with your full documents.
  • You hold a Diploma from another school, have at least an Upper Credit, and have applied for Direct Entry admission to OOU through JAMB.

How to Apply

Payment

  • You’ll pay ₦2,000 for the screening and admin charges.
  • Go to the OOU PUTME application portal.
  • Create your profile, make payment online, and use your correct UTME number. A wrong profile or number means your application is gone.

Registration

  • Stay on the same portal.
  • Fill out the form online.
  • One week before the screening, print your OOU Screening Pass.
  • Problems? Send an email to gouputme@oouagoiwoye.edu.ng.

Deadline

The deadline for the completion of the post UTME form is 17th August, 2025.

What to Bring for the Test

  • Your Screening Pass
  • JAMB UTME result slip
  • Your test date and time will be written on the pass.
  • Venue is the Main Campus in Ago-Iwoye.

The test will be computer-based (CBT). Keep checking the university site for updates on your exam day.

Final Note

OOU does not work with any agents. If anyone asks for money outside this process, it’s a scam. Stick to the official portal and contacts.

The above is for your strict adherence to avoid any hitch in the exercise.
