How to Check Your Admission Status
At the moment, there is only one official way to confirm your status, and that is through the JAMB CAPS portal. No shortcuts.
- Visit the JAMB EFacility portal.
- Log in using your JAMB username and password.
- Scroll down and click Check Admission Status.
- Select Access my CAPS.
- Click on Admission Status to see if you made it into The Polytechnic Ibadan.
If the status says “Admission Still in Progress” or “Not Admitted”, do not panic. Just keep checking. Sometimes it changes when you least expect.
What to Do After Admission Offer
If your screen shows the golden word “Admitted”, congrats. But there is still work to do.
- First, send ACCEPT or REJECT to 55019 or 66019 using your registered JAMB phone number.
- After that, go back to the JAMB portal and print your admission letter. You can do this through the JAMB Admission Letter page.
Once this is done, the next step takes you to the school side.
- Log in to The Polytechnic Ibadan portal using your details.
- Accept the admission there as well.
- Proceed to pay your acceptance fee, which confirms your place fully.
