Application open for Master’s, PhD, and Diploma courses

Glorious Vision University (GVU), Ogwa, Edo State, formerly called Samuel Adegboyega University, is now taking applications for its postgraduate programmes for the 2025/2026 academic year. Courses run at both the main campus and the Lagos study centre.

Admission requirements

PhD

• You need a Master’s degree with at least 60% average or CGPA of 3.5 on a 5.0 scale
• If your score falls between 55%–59.99% or CGPA 3.00–3.49, apply for MPhil/PhD
• Below that, you’re not eligible for PhD or MPhil/PhD. You should consider doing a fresh Master’s programme instead

Master’s

• At least a Second Class Lower in your first degree

Postgraduate Diploma (PGD)

• Open to candidates with HND, Third Class degrees, or those changing fields

The 2025/2026 academic year starts in September 2025.
