NELFUND Extends 2025/2026 Student Loan Application Deadline

The Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) has extended the application deadline for the 2025/2026 academic session. The closing date moved from 31 Jan 2026 to 27 February 2026.
NELFUND says the extension gives prospective applicants more time to complete and submit applications; the Fund says it wants to avoid eligible students missing out because of timing.

What Applicants Should Do Next
NELFUND encourages prospective applicants who are Yet to apply, or who started but did not finish, to use the extended deadline. The Fund wants all required information submitted on or before 27 Feb 2026; missing details can stall a submission.
