Apply for African Plant Nutrition Institute Scholarship 2025

The African Plant Nutrition Institute (APNI) is now taking entries for the 2025 Scholarship Programme.

This support is for graduate students working on plant nutrition and how nutrients affect crop growth.

The offer is open to students from any country in Africa.

The award is managed by APNI, a research group based in Benguérir, Morocco.

The goal is to support better crop feeding methods across Africa.

    Receive Cash Award

    • Ten students will each get $2,000 (US Dollars).

    Meet the Eligibility Rules

    To apply, you must:

    • Be a current M.Sc., M.Phil., or Ph.D. student
    • Study soil science, agronomy, horticulture or tree crops
    • Focus your study on plant nutrition
    • Attend a university in Africa

    Submit These Documents

    The full application must include the following items written in English or French:

    1. A copy of transcripts from all university study showing final results
    2. Two signed letters of support, one from your main professor
      • Each letter must be on letterhead
      • Each must include the writer’s phone number and email
    3. A written summary of your research work
      • This should explain the topic and why it matters
    4. A short note with any extra points like past awards, job record or career goal
