Bingham University offers a variety of part-time degree programmes approved by the National Universities Commission (NUC). Choose from these disciplines:
- B.Sc. Accounting
- B.Sc. Business Administration
- B.Sc. Economics
- B.A. English
- B.Sc. Mass Communication
- B.Sc. Political Science
- B.Sc. Sociology
- B.Sc. Computer Science
Candidates with qualifications such as NCE, OND, HND, or B.Sc. can apply for Direct Entry into 200-level admission for these programmes:
- B.Sc. Economics
- B.Sc. Mass Communication
- B.A. English
Application Process
Ready to begin the process? Follow these steps to submit your application:
- Visit the Bingham University Part-Time Studies Portal.
- Create a new account and provide a valid email address to receive an activation link.
- Activate the account and log in to access the payment menu.
- Generate a payment slip by selecting the “Pay with Remita” option. The application fee is ₦15,000 and is non-refundable.
- Pay at any bank branch or use an ATM card for online payment.
- Once payment is complete, fill out and submit the online application form.
Entry Requirements
To qualify for admission, applicants must meet one of the following criteria:
- A minimum of five O’level credits, including English and Mathematics, obtained in no more than two sittings in relevant subjects. Acceptable exams include SSCE, WASC, NECO, GCE, NABTEB, or TC II.
- Two ‘A’ Level passes and five O’level credits in relevant subjects.
Applicants must meet the entry requirements specific to their chosen course of study.
Programme Structure
The part-time degree programmes span six years for four-year courses. Classes are scheduled for weekends, making it convenient for students to balance other commitments alongside studies.
Submission of Completed Applications
After completing the online form, take these steps:
- Click on the “Form submission” button.
- Print a hard copy of the submitted form.
- Submit the hard copy to the Part-Time Studies Coordinating Office at Bingham University’s Karu campus.
Screening Details
Screening begins on 13th January 2025 and ends on 31st March 2025. It starts at 9:00 am daily at the Karu campus. Candidates should bring original copies of their credentials for verification.
