The Nigeria Prize for Science 2025 is open for submissions.
The prize rewards scientific breakthroughs that provide solutions for Nigeria in the field of ICT, Artificial Intelligence, and Digital Technologies for Development.

Prize Award
- USD 100,000 for the winner(s).
Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Be scientists or innovators working in ICT, Artificial Intelligence, or Digital Technologies.
- Submit a completed scientific work with a proof of concept or a measurable impact.
- Be Nigerians or non-Nigerians (excluding members of the Advisory Board, Panel of Judges, and NLNG staff or their relatives).
- Submit only one entry per competition year.
Submission Process
- Submit entries through the Official Nigeria Prizes Website.
- All entries must be received by midnight GMT on Wednesday, 30th April 2025.
Announcement and Presentation
- The winner(s) will be announced in September 2025.
- The award presentation will take place in October 2025.
