Yobe State University invites fresh forms for postgraduate programmes for the 2024/2025 session.

Sales of forms run from Monday, 27th January 2025 to Monday, 21st April 2025.

Courses are open across different faculties and centres.

Each programme has clear entry rules and steps.

All forms go through online steps only.

Entry Requirements

General O’Level Requirements

• Five credit passes including English and Mathematics
• Three other relevant subjects

Master’s Degree

• Second Class Lower in related field with 0/5.0 CGPA
• Third Class with PGD and Lower Credit CGPA 0/5.0
• Recognised university by YSU Senate

Ph.D. Degree

• Second Class Lower in related field
• Academic Master’s with ‘B’ grade (60%)
• Proven capacity in academic work and sound judgement

Postgraduate Diploma (PGD)

• Second Class Lower or HND with Lower Credit CGPA 0/5.0
• Third Class may be accepted for related field or conversion

Follow the Steps to Apply

1. Go to YSU Postgraduate Application Portal.
2. Create an account.
3. Generate RRR and pay using e-payment or bank.
4. Login with phone number and RRR.
5. Fill all needed parts in the form.
6. Print your slip.
7. Upload documents like certificates, transcript, birth proof, local letter.
8. Mark your course and area of focus if needed.
9. Only one programme can be picked at a time.
10. The school team may accept or reject any form without reason.

Get Ready Before the Closing Date

Make sure all steps are done before Monday, 21st April 2025.
