JAMB is now responsible for reassigning students that had the minimum cut off mark prescribed by JAMB but not allowed to participate in the post UTME screening exercise of their institution of choice due to surplus applicants. JAMB will reassign such students to other universities with low applicants.
As a result of the New Joint Admission Matriculation Board's Admission Policy which according to the Registrar/CEO of JAMB, Professor Dibu Ojerinde, the policy portends two benefits:
JAMB has announced Friday, August 5, 2015 as the commencement date for the checking of reassignment status.
However, the procedure on how to go about this has not been released. by JAMB
We therefore advise candidates to keep their fingers crossed and wait for the release of the procedure which will be available on this site the moment it is released.
