FUTA Certificate Collection Schedule 2025

Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) has released the timetable for the collection of certificates by graduates. From Monday 17 November 2025 to Friday 21 November 2025, each school has a set day for students to pick up their certificates.
This guide helps FUTA graduates see their day clearly and plan their visit so they arrive at the right time with less stress.
FUTA certificate collection dates for graduates
Certificate collection runs from Monday to Friday on the FUTA campus. Each school has one day only, and collection starts at 10 a.m. every day. Graduating students are expected to follow the timetable to keep the process calm and well organised.
Monday 17 November 2025 – SESE and SOC
Monday is for graduates from:
- School of Electrical Systems Engineering (SESE)
- School of Computing (SOC)
Students from these schools are to report on Monday, ready with any identity documents the school may request for confirmation.
Tuesday 18 November 2025 – SPS and SLS
Tuesday is for graduates from:
- School of Physical Sciences (SPS)
- School of Life Sciences (SLS)
Students in these science schools should make sure they attend on Tuesday, as certificates are arranged by date and school.
Wednesday 19 November 2025 – SEMS and SET
Wednesday is set aside for:
- School of Earth and Mineral Sciences (SEMS)
- School of Environmental Technology (SET)
Graduates from these schools are advised to arrive before or close to 10 a.m. so that checks and signing can be done early.
Thursday 20 November 2025 – SBMS and SIMME
Thursday is for students from:
- School of Basic Medical Sciences (SBMS)
- School of Infrastructure, Mineral and Materials Engineering (SIMME)
Graduates from these schools should keep to the Thursday slot, as staff will arrange files and lists by school and day.
Friday 21 November 2025 – SAAT
Friday is for:
- School of Agriculture and Agricultural Technology (SAAT)
SAAT graduates are to use this final day to collect their certificates. Those who miss the day may face extra delay, as the batch has been organised for Friday.
Start time and general conduct
Collection of certificates starts at 10 a.m. each day. Graduating students are expected to:
- Come on the correct day for their school
- Stay patient in the queue
- Follow instructions from staff at the collection point
