Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY) Admission Offer Acceptance Deadline And Registration Steps 2025/2026

Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta, has given clear steps for candidates who have provisional admission for the 2025 session.

MAPOLY wants every admitted candidate to accept the offer and complete all early registration tasks before the date set by management. This helps the polytechnic keep records straight, start classes on time, and make sure only serious candidates keep their spaces.

Key dates for MAPOLY admission acceptance

The management has fixed one key date that every admitted candidate must note:

  • Last day to accept provisional admission: Friday, 21 November 2025
  • Start of lectures for all student categories (except SIWES): Monday, 10 November 2025

Any candidate who does not accept the admission offer on or before Friday, 21 November 2025 will lose that provisional admission.

Who this notice covers

This notice covers all candidates who have been offered provisional admission into Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta, for the current academic period.

It applies to:

  • New candidates on any approved programme
  • Candidates who are not on SIWES at the moment

Students who are on SIWES have their own schedule, as noted in the academic calendar.

Step-by-step guide to accept the provisional admission

Management has listed a simple order of tasks so candidates can keep track of their progress.

1. Accept the admission offer before the deadline

Every admitted candidate is directed to complete the official acceptance process on or before Friday, 21 November 2025.

This means:

  • Following the steps given on the official admission portal
  • Confirming the admission as stated in the offer
  • Making sure the process is fully completed, not half done

Any candidate who misses this date will forfeit the provisional admission and will not be treated as a registered student.

2. Check profile for clearance updates

After acceptance, candidates are advised to check their online profiles for clearance updates.

Clearance involves:

  • Review and approval by the Head of Department
  • Review and approval by the School Officer

Only when the profile shows that the Head of Department and School Officer have approved the clearance can the candidate move on to payment of school fees.

3. Pay the prescribed school fees

Once clearance is complete, candidates are to pay the prescribed school fees. The fee details are given through official MAPOLY channels.

Payment of school fees:

  • Confirms the candidate as ready for full academic work
  • Allows the system to process the next stage of registration

Students are advised to keep proof of payment safe for later checks.

4. Generate matriculation number

After school fees are paid, the system will generate a matriculation number for each cleared and fully registered student.

The matriculation number:

  • Is the main student identity for all records
  • Is used for class lists, test scripts, exams and official forms

Without a matriculation number, a candidate cannot be treated as a fully registered MAPOLY student.

What happens if a candidate misses the deadline

Management has made the rule clear. If a candidate does not accept the provisional admission offer by Friday, 21 November 2025, that candidate will forfeit the offer.

This means:

  • The admission space will not be kept open
  • The candidate will not appear in final registration lists
  • The candidate will have to seek fresh admission in another period

Students are strongly encouraged to plan early so there are no last-minute delays.

Lecture status and SIWES students

According to the approved academic calendar, lectures have already started for all categories of students since Monday, 10 November 2025.

Two key points stand out:

  • Regular lectures are running for students who are on campus
  • Students who are currently on SIWES are not part of the lecture start-up, as they are on field training

New candidates who have accepted their admission and paid fees are expected to join lectures as guided by their departments.

Rector’s message to all students

The Rector, Arc. Dr. ’Koye Jolaoso, has called on all students to:

  • Remain focused on their studies
  • Show good character within and outside the campus
  • Obey the rules and regulations that guide the polytechnic

This message covers both new and returning students, as conduct and hard work go together in school life.

Where to get official MAPOLY information

For clear and trusted updates, students and parents are directed to use only official channels.

They can:

  • Visit the MAPOLY official website for notices and news
  • Send an email to infoaboutmapoly@gmail.com for general questions

These channels help candidates get the right guidance on admission, fees and daily school matters.
