Ruth Titilayo Polytechnic Scholarship

The Ruth Titilayo Educational Foundation is opening doors for ambitious students through the Polytechnic Scholarship for 2026.

It’s open to students in any federal polytechnic in Nigeria. The scholarship can cover a large part of your tuition or offer a smaller sum that still eases the pressure. Either way, it’s about making sure money doesn’t cut short your learning.

Who Is Eligible for the Ruth Titilayo Polytechnic Scholarship?

The scholarship is open to students who meet the following conditions:

  • must be resident in Nigeria
  • must be under 25 years old
  • must be enrolled in a federal polytechnic, or have been within the last three years
  • must have at least a 3.5 GPA on a 5-point scale (or equivalent)
  • final-year students are welcome to apply

This scholarship is intended for those committed to their studies and ready to make the most of the chance.

Scholarship Value

The support offered includes:

  • tuition allowance up to ₦100,000
  • maintenance allowance up to ₦20,000
  • extra allowances, such as travel costs for research or projects, may be approved by the committee

Candidate Assessment

Applications will be reviewed based on academic performance and the strength of the application materials.

You will need to provide:

  • a personal statement outlining your goals and reasons for applying
  • current school results
  • two written references from your tutors

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an online interview where questions about studies and skills will be asked.

Key Dates

  • Application period: 1st October – 31st October 2025
  • Shortlist announced: from 11th November 2025
  • Interviews: December 2025
  • Awards: granted after interviews

  • Current school results
  • Two reference letters from tutors
  • A personal statement
