Igbajo Poly HND Form 2026/2027: Courses, Requirements & How to Apply

Igbajo Polytechnic has started selling its Higher National Diploma admission form for the 2026/2027 academic session.

The notice also states that the National Youth Service Corps has approved Igbajo Polytechnic HND graduates for mobilisation, a point many HND applicants will want to see before they start the form.

About Igbajo Polytechnic HND Admission

Igbajo Polytechnic sits in Boluwaduro Local Government Area of Osun State and carries the record as Nigeria’s first community-owned polytechnic.

The polytechnic has approval from the National Board for Technical Education and recognition from NYSC; candidates who want HND admission can now apply through the school portal.

Igbajo Polytechnic HND Courses

Qualified candidates can apply for any of the following HND programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session:

1. SLT Microbiology option
2. SLT Physics Electronics option
3. SLT Biochemistry option
4. Computer Science
5. Accountancy
6. Business Administration and Management
7. Statistics

Only NBTE-accredited courses will count for admission.

Igbajo Polytechnic HND Entry Requirements

Applicants must hold an ND certificate from Igbajo Polytechnic or any other government-approved polytechnic.

The minimum grade is Lower Credit, with proof of one year Industrial Training.

Candidates with a Pass grade may also receive consideration after two years of Industrial Training.

Applicants must also have five credit passes in English Language, Mathematics and three other relevant subjects at GCE O’Level, WASC, NECO or NABTEB, at not more than two sittings.

Points Candidates Should Check Before Applying

Candidates should read the admission rules for their chosen programme before filling the form.

They should fill the form by themselves, not through another person, and should pay close attention to the order of names, examination grades, examination number, examination year and the exact Industrial Training date.

For Lower Credit candidates, the required IT period is 12 months from the date of ND certification.

For Pass grade candidates, the required IT period is 24 months from the date of ND certification.

Candidates should also keep their scratch cards safe, since a lost scratch card will require the purchase of another one.

Igbajo Polytechnic HND Form Fee

The application form costs N9,500.

Applicants should use a correct and working email address while filling the online form.

How to Apply for Igbajo Polytechnic HND Form

Applicants should start through the Igbajo Polytechnic application portal if they have not created an account before.

Candidates who already have an account should use the Igbajo Polytechnic application login page to continue their application.

The application will count as complete only after the applicant uploads all required documents.

Required uploads are:

• Birth certificate
• WAEC or NECO result
• ND result
• Industrial Training letter
• Letter of sponsorship by parents

All documents must be in JPEG, PNG or PDF format.

Each file must not exceed 100kb.

The school will check the original copies of uploaded documents during screening, so candidates must go with them.

Submission of Completed Forms

Candidates must print the completed form and submit it during the screening exercise.

The screening date will be announced later.

The printed form must go with the following documents:

• Three photocopies of credentials
• Three photocopies of birth certificate or sworn affidavit
• Four passport photographs
• Photocopy of the original receipt

Incomplete applications will not receive consideration.

Igbajo Polytechnic HND Screening Exercise

Igbajo Polytechnic will announce the HND screening date later.

Candidates who have not obtained the application form can also apply during the screening period.

Applicants should come with:

• O’Level results
• Three photocopies of credentials
• Industrial Training letter and ND result for HND applicants

Other Notes for Applicants

Candidates with Pass may receive consideration after two years of Industrial Training.

Applicants should also have their ND JAMB admission letter.

Change of school is allowed for ND candidates.
