Mercy Medical University Post UTME/DE Form for 2026/2027 Admission

Mercy Medical University, MMU, has opened applications for admission into its degree programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session. Qualified candidates can apply through the university admission portal after meeting the stated entry rules.

The form covers UTME and Direct Entry applicants.

Mercy Medical University Courses for 2026/2027 Admission

MMU lists degree programmes across Allied Health Sciences, Medicine and Pharmaceutical Sciences. Candidates should check the course list before applying, since each course requires the right O’Level subjects and admission route.

MMU Admission Requirements for UTME Candidates

UTME candidates must have sat for the 2026 UTME and scored at least 150. They must also choose Mercy Medical University as first choice, or apply for a change of school through a JAMB accredited CBT centre or JAMB office.

For degree programmes, candidates need five relevant O’Level credits at not more than two sittings. The required subjects are English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology, and the accepted exam bodies are WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB.

MMU Admission Requirements for Direct Entry Candidates

Direct Entry candidates must obtain the JAMB Direct Entry form and hold five relevant O’Level credits. These credits must include English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology, at not more than two sittings.

MMU also accepts the listed higher qualifications for Direct Entry admission.

• Advanced Level result
• IJMB
• JUPEB
• National Diploma with at least Lower Credit
• Relevant degree from a recognised university with at least Second Class Lower, 2.2
• Cambridge Advanced Level result

Inter-university transfer admission into 200 Level is also available across all degree programmes of the university.

How to Apply for Mercy Medical University Admission

Candidates who chose Mercy Medical University as first choice during the 2026 UTME should apply through the Mercy Medical University admission portal. The application goes through the university website.

Candidates who did not choose Mercy Medical University but wish to apply should first visit a JAMB accredited CBT centre or JAMB office. They need to process a change of school to Mercy Medical University as first choice before visiting the university website for the admission form.

After Submitting the MMU Application

After completing the online application, candidates will receive an application confirmation through email. They should print or save the confirmation slip.

Applicants should also check their email and the university portal often for admission status updates. Mercy Medical University does not conduct a Post-UTME examination; the school screens results, and the screening is not physical.
