Akwa Ibom Poly 31st Matriculation Date 2026

Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic has announced the date for its 31st matriculation ceremony.

The event is for registered students in ND1 Full-Time and Akwapoly Consult, as well as the Polytechnic Community. The ceremony is scheduled for Thursday, 19 March 2026, at the Polytechnic Convocation Ground by 11.00 am.

Who can take part in the matriculation ceremony

The Polytechnic states that only students who have paid their fees and completed registration in their respective departments will be allowed to take part in the ceremony.

That condition is Clear; fee payment and departmental registration must be in place before participation.

Academic gown collection details

Heads of Departments have been asked to collect academic gowns from the Central Stores for distribution to matriculating students.

The collection window runs from Tuesday, 17 March, to Wednesday, 19 March 2026.

Students affected by this notice should note that payment for the gowns has already been made.

What matriculating students must do after the ceremony

All matriculants are required to sign the Matriculation Registers after the ceremony.

The signing will take place at the offices of their Deans of Schools. That step matters; each student is expected to complete it after the matriculation.
