Bridge Educational Scholarship portal reopens for students

The Bridge Charity Foundation, working with WealthBridge Financial Services Holdings Limited, has reopened its educational scholarship application portal.

The decision follows feedback from participating universities, which showed that many students did not know about the scholarship earlier. To allow wider participation across various campuses, including Olabisi Onabanjo University, the foundation has extended the application window for this round.

Scholarship application dates

The scholarship portal is open from Wednesday, 11 March to Wednesday, 18 March 2026.

Interested students are expected to apply before the portal closes for the final time in this cycle; that deadline now stands clear.

What the scholarship covers

The Bridge Educational Scholarship covers full tuition from 100 Level to the final year.

Payment goes directly to the university through FMCB Trustees.

For any beneficiary who has already paid the current tuition fee, the same amount will be placed in a secure money market fund. The accumulated sum will then be paid to the student on graduation as an investment benefit.

Who can apply

The award is open to bona fide students of participating universities.

Each university’s Student Affairs Division will verify the student’s academic details. This includes the programme of study and current degree classification.

How to apply

Qualified students can submit an application through the Bridge Educational Scholarship application portal.

Award presentation

Successful applicants will receive their awards during an official ceremony to be held within the university on a date yet to be announced.
