- JAMB says registered candidates must attend
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, has opened the portal for 2026 Mock UTME slip printing from Monday, 23 March 2026. Candidates who registered for the mock can now print the slip and check the venue and time for the exam scheduled for Saturday, 28 March 2026.
The mock exam is used to test the Computer-Based Test system and help candidates prepare ahead of the main UTME. The slip carries the key details eligible candidates need before the exam day; venue and time sit right at the centre of it.
How to print the JAMB mock slip
JAMB has provided two ways to check and print the 2026 mock slip.
Option 1: Print through the mock slip portal
Candidates can use the JAMB mock slip printing portal.
Steps:
- Visit the portal.
- Enter the JAMB registration number or email address in the space provided.
- Click “Generate Mock Slip”.
- Print the slip once it appears.
Option 2: Print through JAMB eFacility
Candidates can also use the JAMB eFacility portal.
Steps:
- Visit the portal.
- Enter the email address and password.
- Click “Login”.
- Open the dashboard and look for the option to print the mock slip.
What the mock slip will show
The mock slip will show the venue and time for the mock examination. That small detail matters, because it tells each eligible candidate where to go and when to report.
JAMB extends mock exam duration
JAMB said the 2026 Mock UTME will run for four hours instead of the usual two hours. The board said the change is meant to give candidates enough time to get used to the CBT environment.
Two sessions will hold on the same day:
- 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
- 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
JAMB said candidates will take part in both sessions one after the other. That Longer format is part of the board’s plan to give candidates more exposure before the main examination.
Participation is mandatory
JAMB Registrar, Professor Is-haq Oloyede, said candidates who registered for the Mock UTME must take part. He said the mock has limited slots; any candidate who registers and stays away has wasted a slot another interested person could have used.
JAMB also advised all affected candidates to make the needed arrangements to sit for the mock.
