Step 1: Accept or reject the admission

The candidate logs in to the account to accept or reject the admission.

Step 2: Pay the acceptance fee before printing the admission letter

The candidate makes this payment before printing the admission letter:

  • Admission acceptance fee: N7,000.00

Step 3: Attend screening at the School for Basic and Remedial Studies

The candidate proceeds to the School for Basic and Remedial Studies at Sheik Ja’afar Mahmud Adam Road (Dorayi Road) for screening.

Step 4: Meet the Students Affairs Officer for assessment

The candidate meets the Students Affairs Officer at the School for assessment, with photocopies of the following documents:

  • Copy of screened Polytechnic admission letter
  • Copies of all original documents
  • Passport photograph

Step 5: Account activation by M.I.S. staff

The candidate meets the M.I.S. staff for account activation; the record must be Active before the next stage.

Step 6: Complete portal payments and print key documents

The candidate then logs in on the KanoPoly SRMS portal to carry out the listed actions:

  • Pay central registration fee
  • Pay departmental registration
  • Print receipts
  • Print course registration form (C.R.F.)
  • Print student examination card

Step 7: Library registration

The candidate proceeds to the library for library registration.

Step 8: Payment authentication at the bursary

The candidate proceeds to the Bursary Department at Central Administration for payment authentication.

Step 9: Submit credentials for documentation at the School

The candidate proceeds to the School with the following for documentation:

  • Two (2) copies of all credentials
  • Two recent passport photographs
