YABATECH Revises Full-Time Academic Calendar 2024/2025

Yaba College of Technology has approved changes to the full-time academic calendar for the 2024/2025 session. The update follows a decision reached by the Academic Board.

A circular from the Office of the Registrar, dated 16 December 2025, shared details of the meeting held on Thursday, 11 December 2025. The revised calendar lists fresh dates for the Christmas and New Year break, school resumption, and second semester assessments.

Under the approved schedule, full-time students will leave their hostels for the holiday break from 21 December 2025 to 9 January 2026. Students are expected back on campus for academic work on 10 January 2026.

The notice also confirmed the period for second semester assessments. Examinations and Computer-Based Tests will take place from 19 January to 30 January 2026. Students are encouraged to plan revision and travel with these dates in mind.

Mrs E. A. Salako, Deputy Registrar for the Academic Board, signed the circular on behalf of the Registrar. Copies were sent to the Rector, Deputy Rectors for Academic and Administrative matters, the Registrar, and the Dean of Student Affairs.

Staff and full-time students have been asked to read the updated calendar carefully and follow the new schedule as stated.
