UNIUYO Academic Calendar for 2023/2024 and 2024/2025 Sessions

The University of Uyo (UNIUYO) has approved the academic calendar for the 2023/2024 and 2024/2025 sessions.

The calendar provides the schedule for Year One and Year Two students, including direct entry.

First Semester Schedule

• January 8, 2025: Lectures begin for Year One and Year Two students.
• January 8 – March 14, 2025: Lectures continue for 10 weeks.
• January 27 – January 31, 2025: Orientation for new students (1 week).
• March 17 – March 21, 2025: Revision week for all students (1 week).
• March 24 – April 11, 2025: First semester examinations (3 weeks).
• April 14 – April 25, 2025: First semester break (2 weeks).

Second Semester Schedule

• April 28, 2025: Lectures begin for the second semester.
• April 28 – May 16, 2025: Registration without penalty (3 weeks).
• May 19 – May 30, 2025: Registration with penalty (2 weeks).
• April 28 – July 18, 2025: Lectures continue for 12 weeks.
• July 21 – July 25, 2025: Revision week (1 week).
• July 28 – August 15, 2025: Second semester examinations (3 weeks).
• August 18 – September 12, 2025: Long vacation (4 weeks).
