The Ekiti State University (EKSU) has announced the availability of the Post-UTME/Direct Entry screening form for the 2024/2025 academic session. The screening exercise will start on Wednesday, July 24, 2024. Notably, there will be no examination involved.

Eligibility Criteria

• UTME Candidates: Must have chosen EKSU and scored 140 or above in the 2024 UTME.
• Change of Institution: Candidates who did not initially choose EKSU but scored 140 or above and are willing to change their first-choice institution to EKSU on the JAMB CAPS.
• Awaiting Results: Candidates awaiting SSSC results should only apply after their results are released.
• Minimum UTME Scores for Specific Courses:
  • Mass Communication: 180
  • Medical Laboratory Science: 220
  • Nursing: 220
  • Law: 240
  • Medicine (MBBS): 250

Note: Candidates with lower scores can apply for other courses and must update their choice on JAMB CAPS.

Instructions for All Candidates

1. Visit the EKSU Portal:

   • Go to the EKSU Portal.
   • Click on “ADMISSION” to access the online application portal.

2. Create an Account:

   • Sign up with your details, including an active email address and personal phone number.
   • A verification email will be sent to you.

3. Login to Your Dashboard:

   • Use your email address or JAMB registration number as the username and the password created during sign-up.
   • Select “2024/2025 PUTME application”.

4. Fill in Your Details:

   • Enter your JAMB Registration Number.
   • Information for candidates who chose EKSU will populate automatically.
   • Candidates who did not choose EKSU must fill in all their details correctly.

5. Payment for Screening Form:

   • Click “PAY NOW” to make the payment online.

6. Complete the Application Form:

   • Attach a 1×1 colored passport photograph with a red background in JPEG format.
   • Upload details of your O’Level results obtained in no more than two sittings (WAEC SSCE, NECO, NABTEB).

7. Submit and Print:

   • Preview, confirm, and submit the completed screening form.
   • Print out the completed form for your records.

Direct Entry Candidates

• O’ Level Requirements: Must have a minimum of five O’ level credits, including English and Mathematics.
• Engineering Programs: Require a minimum of Upper Credit from Polytechnics.
• Other Programs: Require a minimum of Lower Credit.
• MBBS and Law: Require a minimum of Second Class Lower Division.
• Nursing Science: Candidates must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Education Programs: NCE candidates need Credit Merit in relevant teaching subjects.
• Transcripts: Direct Entry candidates should send transcripts to admissions.registration@eksu.edu.ng by September 30, 2024.

Important Information

• NECO Results: UTME candidates with NECO results must submit “Result Verification Tokens” at the Admissions Office.
• Verification Tokens: Candidates without tokens should visit the NECO Verification Portal and input the email admissions.verification@eksu.edu.ng.
• Screening Participation: Failure to participate in the screening exercise will result in disqualification.
• False Information: Providing false information will lead to automatic disqualification.
