The Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun (FUPRE) invites candidates who scored 150 and above and selected the University as their first choice in the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME) to apply for the Post UTME Screening Exercise.

Application Timeline

• Start Date: Monday, 29th July 2024
• Closing Date: Monday, 19th August 2024

The examination will commence on Monday, September 9th, 2024. Candidates should check their individual examination dates and times on their application confirmation page.

Eligibility Criteria

• College of Engineering: All programs require a minimum score of 180.
• College of Science: All programs require a minimum score of 150.

Candidates who do not meet the required minimum UTME cut-off mark for their chosen course (180 for Engineering and 150 for Science) should visit the JAMB website to request a “Change of Course” to a program that accepts a lower UTME score.

Important Note: The “Change of Course” must be completed before registering for the Post UTME. To be eligible for admission, affected candidates must register for and sit for the Post UTME under the new course. Ensure that you have the appropriate UTME and WAEC subject combinations required for the new program. Visit the University website for specific admission requirements. Note that "Change of Course" requests may take a few days to reflect on the portal.

Carefully complete all required fields, submit the form, and print out your confirmation page.
