The Students' Union Government (SUG) of Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin, formally and respectfully wishes to address, acknowledge and answer the worries of the whole student body concerning the latest rise in certain existing fees and the addition of new charges by the college.

The SUG leadership wants to affirm that it is fully cognizant of the concerns, unrest and anxieties voiced by students regarding these fee increases and new levies.

Accordingly, the SUG assures the whole student community that it recognizes the situation and is already acting diligently and proactively through the proper official channels to resolve these issues in the students' best interest.

Moreover, the SUG urges all students to stay calm, obey the law and be patient while talks and negotiations with the relevant authorities and the institution’s management proceed.

The SUG reiterates that the welfare, well‑being and overall interests of the students remain its top priority, and it is fully dedicated to representing student interests responsibly, diligently and effectively.

The SUG notes that additional updates and official information will be relayed to the student body as soon as the management provides further details.

The SUG thanks all students for their patience, understanding and cooperation, and reaffirms its steadfast commitment to their welfare.
