Applicants seeking undergraduate admission into 100, 200, or 300 Levels at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), who have chosen the University as their Most Preferred Institution with the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), are invited to apply online for the 2024/2025 Pre-Admission Screening Exercise. The 2024/2025 academic session is expected to commence in October 2024.

Admission to FUNAAB is highly competitive. Successful candidates will be offered admission on JAMB's Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) based on the institution's capacity and will be required to undergo an intensive ICT Training and Orientation Programme to prepare them for life at FUNAAB.

Eligible candidates are to follow these steps:

1. Generate Invoice: Login and enter your JAMB UTME or JAMB Direct Entry Registration Numbers to generate and print out your Application Invoice, which includes your REMITA Reference Number and other payment details for a non-refundable fee of Two Thousand Naira (₦2,000.00), excluding REMITA charges.

2. Payment: Proceed to any bank accepting REMITA payments (nationwide), or pay online using a debit card, Internet Banking, or via the Remita website using the REMITA Reference Number.

3. Complete Application: After payment, return to the University admission portal, log in, and complete the e-application form as appropriate. Ensure all personal information fetched from JAMB’s portal is correct and accurately input additional required information (contact details, O’Level examination details, OND/HND/NCE/A’Level/IJMB/JUPEB results).

4. Review and Submit: On the last page (acknowledgement page), review your application carefully and confirm the entries before clicking on the Submit button. Print out and keep the Application Form displaying your passport photograph.

Important Notes

• Candidates must ensure that they meet the minimum admission requirements before making payment. If it is discovered at any point that you do not meet these requirements, the offer of admission will be withdrawn and payments made are non-refundable.
• Candidates who upload incorrect O’Level results or UTME/OND/HND/NCE/A'Level/IJMB/JUPEB results will be automatically disqualified.
• Candidates have the option to express interest in part-time (weekday evenings) programmes if available. Further details are available at the FUNAAB Part-Time Portal.
• DE candidates must submit their transcript (OND/HND/NCE candidates) or Certified True Copy of Statement of Results stamped by the Director/HOD of their institution (A'Level candidates) to the Registrar, Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, by Friday, 6th September 2024.
• Only candidates with completed applications before the stipulated deadline will be considered.
