Notice is hereby given to all candidates who chose LAUTECH as their institution of first choice in the 2024/2025 Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE) that the portal for registration for admission to the various programmes in the University will open on Monday, August 5, 2024, and close on Friday, September 6, 2024. Oral and written interviews will be conducted for Direct Entry candidates on Tuesday, September 10, and Wednesday, September 11, 2024.

Applicants must note that before the University can offer admission, they must have uploaded their O’level results on CAPS. Once admission is offered, candidates must accept or reject the offer on CAPS before JAMB’s closure of CAPS for the exercise to be on JAMB's National Matriculation list.

Eligibility

• UTME Candidates: Must have scored 170 marks and above in the 2024/2025 tertiary matriculation examination.
• Direct Entry Candidates: Must have obtained Direct Entry forms from JAMB to be eligible for the oral and written screening exercise. They must forward their transcripts to the Registrar, Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, not later than one week before the screening exercise.

Method of Application

Applicants are to proceed to the admission portal of the University at to make a payment of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000.00) only for the registration of the post-UTME exercise using an Inter-Switch Enabled Debit Card (ATM card).

1. Familiarize with Programmes: Applicants should familiarize themselves with the available programmes in the University, the O’Level entry requirements, and the UTME subject combination for each programme.
2. Complete Application: Carefully complete and submit the online application form by uploading a clear digital copy of their passport photograph on a white background, in JPEG format, and not more than 20kb.
3. Print Acknowledgement Page: Any applicant with a blurred picture on the acknowledgment page will not be admitted to the screening centre. The acknowledgment page should be presented at the screening venue.

Important Notes

• Ensure valid and active email addresses and phone numbers are provided for communication.
• Applicants awaiting NABTEB, NECO, and WASC results are eligible to apply but must upload their results on JAMB CAPS after release. Late uploads may not be processed.
• Inconsistencies in names, state of origin, and age on any result will lead to disqualification.
• The names on O’Level results and other registration documents must be consistent.
• Direct Entry candidates must attend the oral and written interviews as scheduled to be considered for admission.
• Applicants must have at least five (5) relevant subject credits at not more than two sittings in SSCE/NECO/NATEB for UTME. Direct Entry candidates must have a minimum of Upper Credit in ND, NCE, HND, RNS, or JUPEB, with five (5) credit passes in SSCE/NECO/NABTEB in relevant subjects. Medicine, Nursing, and Medical Laboratory Science applicants must have at least five (5) relevant O’Level credits in one sitting. Applicants should be at least sixteen (16) years of age.

Warning

Applicants who provide false information to secure admission will be handed over to law enforcement agencies for prosecution, and their admission will be withdrawn. Beware of fraudsters, as the University will not be liable for any transaction with unauthorized persons.
