Please Note: Nigerian tertiary institutions don’t make use of any outside agent and will not make use of any in the 2024/2025 admission exercise. Aspirants are thereby advised to stay clear from such in processing their applications. Applications should be processed directly, following each guideline and instructions issued by the institution

The Borno State University (BOSU) Post UTME/Direct Entry screening application for the 2024/2025 academic session is now open.

Eligibility Criteria for BOSU’s Post UTME and Direct Entry

To qualify, candidates must satisfy the following conditions:

  • University Preference: Select Borno State University as your first choice and achieve a minimum UTME score of 150. Note that some programs require higher scores; refer to BOSU's cut off mark details for more information.
  • Academic Qualifications: Obtain at least five relevant credits in O’ Level exams, including English and Mathematics.
  • UTME Subjects: Ensure you have the correct subject combinations in the 2024 UTME.
  • Direct Entry Requirements: For Direct Entry applicants, you must:
    • Secure at least five relevant O’ Level credits, including English and Mathematics.
    • Earn a minimum of 9 points in NCE, a lower credit in ND/HND, or a Second Class Lower in a degree program.

Changing Course Preferences

If your score falls short of the required cut-off for your selected program, you should change your course through the JAMB portal to one that aligns with your score.

Uploading O’ Level Results

It is crucial to upload your O’ Level results on the JAMB website. Failing to do so may jeopardize your chances of admission. If you are awaiting results, mark ‘Awaiting Result’ and update your application when the results become available.
