The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) is in the final stages of preparation to launch the registration for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE).
According to the weekly bulletin by the Board, to facilitate this, JAMB will hold meetings with critical stakeholders on Monday, January 27, and Tuesday, January 28, 2025.
The initial meeting will include the Commissioners of Education from all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). This gathering aims to foster collaboration and gather insights from these vital stakeholders regarding the Board’s processes.
The Commissioners have historically played a significant role in JAMB’s stakeholder engagement, participating in annual meetings where the features of the upcoming examination cycle are presented for their analysis and feedback.
On Tuesday, January 28, 2025, JAMB will convene with its Chief External Examiners (CEEs), Chief Technical Advisors, and proprietors of Computer-Based Test (CBT) centers. This meeting will focus on a primary group of stakeholders, including the Board’s standing committees, who are strategically involved in the registration and examination processes. The proprietors of CBT centers provide the essential platform for conducting the examinations.
The importance of these discussions underscores JAMB’s commitment to ensuring a smooth and efficient registration process.
The meetings will address the roles of each stakeholder and outline the measures JAMB has implemented to guarantee a seamless examination experience.
