The Federal University of Technology, Minna (FUTMinna) is notifying all candidates who applied for admission into the 2024/2025 academic session that the Registration/University’s Pre-Admission Screening Exercise (UPASE) will begin on Monday, 4th August, 2025 and conclude at 12:00 am midnight on Sunday, 31st August, 2025.

Candidates are advised to visit the FUTMinna website at http://www.futminna.edu.ng for detailed instructions on online registration, screening exercise requirements, payment procedure, and other important information.

Candidates are required to make a non-refundable payment of ₦2,000 via the REMITA platform.

Eligibility Criteria

1. UTME and Direct Entry (DE) candidates who selected FUT Minna as their first choice are eligible for the screening process.

2. UTME candidates must have a minimum score of 150 (exceptions apply for courses with higher cut-off marks, which are listed on the university’s website).

3. All candidates must have obtained a minimum of five O'Level credits, including Mathematics and English Language, in subjects relevant to their chosen courses, obtained in no more than two sittings. For Direct Entry candidates, a minimum of Lower Credit at the National Diploma and/or Higher National Diploma level(s), or Merit at the NCE level is required.

4. UTME candidates who meet the minimum score of 150 but lack the appropriate subject combination for their desired course can change to any course for which they meet the requirements.
