The Federal University of Kashere (FUKASHERE) has officially announced the resumption timeline following the end of the current holiday break. Academic activities will return to full swing immediately after the break, and students are advised to align their plans accordingly.

According to the university, the holiday period officially wraps up on Sunday, 4 January, with lectures and all academic engagements resuming on Monday, 5 January 2026. Once campus reopens, things will move quickly—no slow warm-up.

Important Dates At A Glance

FUKASHERE released the schedule clearly and without any adjustments:
    •    Sunday, 4 January – End of holiday
    •    Monday, 5 January 2026 – Resumption of lectures and academic activities
    •    Thursday, 8 January 2026 – Matriculation ceremony for newly admitted students
    •    Monday, 26 January 2026 – Commencement of examinations (timetable unchanged)

No dates were added. None were shifted. What you see is what you get.

Security Advisory For Returning Students

University management has also issued a firm safety advisory as students return to Kashere. Students are strongly advised to avoid night travel and unnecessary nighttime outings due to security concerns in the area.

The message is simple but serious: travel early, move smart, and don’t take avoidable risks. Planning ahead can make all the difference.

Matriculation Notice For Fresh Students

Newly admitted students should note that matriculation has been fixed for Thursday, 8 January 2026. The university encourages participants to prepare properly and appear neat and presentable for the ceremony.

It may seem routine now, but it’s one of those milestones you’ll remember later. Sorting out outfits, transport, and timing ahead of the day is a quiet life hack—use it.

Exams: No Changes, No Surprises

FUKASHERE has confirmed that the examination timetable remains exactly as previously released. Exams will begin on Monday, 26 January 2026.

If you’ve already started studying with the existing timetable, stay locked in. No last-minute switch-ups.

Final Word

As the campus becomes active again, the university has wished all students success in their academic pursuits and urged everyone to remain vigilant and safety-conscious.

Short notice. Clear dates. No confusion. Plan well and resume strong.
