The Federal Polytechnic, Bauchi, has announced the opening of applications for its highly anticipated 2025/2026 session Upgrade Programme. This innovative initiative is specifically designed for former graduates who achieved a Pass classification in either their National Diploma (ND) or Higher National Diploma (HND) from the institution.

The programme was established in response to overwhelming community demand, providing alumni with a unique opportunity to enhance their academic qualifications by upgrading their pass-level results to meet the Polytechnic's approved standards.

To be eligible, prospective applicants must have graduated with a Pass result in an ND or HND from the Federal Polytechnic, Bauchi. Additionally, candidates must possess a minimum of five (5) O'Level credits in relevant subjects, obtained in no more than two sittings.

The upgrade course will span one academic session, divided into two semesters. Lectures will be delivered through a blended format, combining physical classroom sessions with online learning via approved digital platforms.

Interested candidates are required to follow a simple application process: 1. Visit the Polytechnic’s portal at https://portal.fptb.edu.ng. 2. Click on 'ONLINE ADMISSION,' enter their details, and generate a payment slip (RRR). 3. Pay a non-refundable application fee of Six Thousand Five Hundred Naira (N6,500) at any bank. 4. Return to the portal to complete the application using the assigned Application Number and registered phone number.

The application deadline is six (6) weeks from the date of the advertisement’s publication, and all applications must be submitted online within this timeframe. The Polytechnic encourages all eligible former students to take advantage of this opportunity to upgrade their academic credentials.
