The Federal University of Technology and Entrepreneurial Studies, Iyin-Ekiti has made slight adjustments to its transportation system ahead of the First Semester Examinations for the 2025/2026 Academic Session, scheduled to begin on Monday, 13th April, 2026.
In view of this, the school bus schedule from Ado-Ekiti has been reviewed. The bus will now arrive at Moremi Bus Stop, Fajuyi as early as 6:50 a.m. and will depart not later than 7:15 a.m. daily, contrary to the previous 7:30 a.m. arrival time.
This adjustment aims to ensure that students residing in Ado-Ekiti arrive on campus early enough to settle down and adequately prepare before entering the examination halls. Staff members residing in Ado are also encouraged to take note of this change and adjust their schedules accordingly.
Furthermore, to complement the existing transportation arrangement and enhance ease of movement, the University Management has made available two additional tricycles to convey students from the School Junction in Iyin to the campus at a subsidized rate of ₦100, as against the ₦300 currently charged by commercial motorcycle operators.
The tricycles will be available at the junction from 7:00 a.m. daily, providing a more affordable and convenient option for students.
These measures have been put in place to ensure seamless movement, reduce delays, and support a smooth and stress-free examination process for all students.
Students are therefore advised to take advantage of these arrangements, plan their movements properly, and be punctual to all examination venues.
The announcement was made by Dr. Taiwo David Olugbenga, Chairman, University Transportation Committee.
