The Management of Sa'adu Zungur University has officially declared a temporary closure of the institution in observance of the upcoming Eid El-Kabir Sallah celebration.
According to an internal memorandum released today by the Office of the Registrar, the university will be closed starting Tuesday, May 26, 2026, and will remain closed through Sunday, May 31, 2026.
The university administration has issued a reminder to all staff members to ensure that all electrical appliances in their respective offices are safely switched off before departing for the holidays.
While normal administrative and academic activities are paused, management clarified that all essential services within the university campus will be fully maintained throughout the break period.
Normal work and full university operations are scheduled to resume on Monday, June 1, 2026.
The memorandum, signed by B.M Sabo (PAR, Establishments) on behalf of the Registrar, concluded by wishing the entire university community a joyous and peaceful Eid celebration.
