Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Higher National Diploma (HND) Regular I & II, ND Regular II, and certificate programmes of Delta State Polytechnic, Ogwashi-Uku for the 2026/2027 academic session.

AVAILABLE PROGRAMMES

The available programmes include Higher National Diploma (HND) Regular I in various schools such as Applied Sciences, Arts and Design, Business and Management Technology, Engineering Technology, and ICT. The programmes offered include Mathematics & Statistics, Hospitality Management, Science Laboratory Technology, Fashion Design & Clothing Technology, Art & Design, Accountancy, Banking & Finance, Business Administration & Management, Production Management, Human Resource Management, Marketing, Public Administration, Agricultural & Bio-Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Foundry Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Welding & Fabrication Engineering, Software & Web Development, Networking & Cloud Computing, Cyber Security & Data Protection, Artificial Intelligence, Journalism & Media Studies, Strategic Communication & Media Studies, Film & Multimedia Production, Office Technology & Management, and Library & Information Science.

For National Diploma (ND) Regular II, the available programmes include Public Administration, Business Administration, Accountancy, Marketing, Banking and Finance, Co-operative Economics, Mathematics and Statistics, Science Laboratory Technology, Hospitality and Tourism Management, Public Health Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Welding & Fabrication Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Civil Engineering, Fashion Design and Clothing Technology, Fine and Applied Arts, Mass Communication, Computer Science, Office Technology & Management, Library & Information Science, Crime Management, Social Development, Estate Management and Valuation, Building Technology, Urban and Regional Planning, and Architecture.

For Higher National Diploma (HND) Regular II, the available programmes include Business Administration, Accountancy, Marketing, Banking and Finance, Human Resource Management, Production and Operations Management, Co-operative Economics, Mathematics & Statistics, Hospitality Tourism Management, Mechanical Engineering, Welding & Fabrication Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mass Communication, Computer Science, Office Technology & Management, and Library & Information Science. A certificate course in Hospitality and Tourism Management is also available.

Admission requirements for National Diploma (ND) Regular II include five O' Level credit passes at not more than two sittings, including English Language and Mathematics. For Higher National Diploma (HND) Regular I, a National Diploma (ND) with a minimum of Lower Credit in relevant disciplines from NBTE-accredited institutions, with at least one year of post-ND Industrial Training, is required. Candidates with a Pass grade in ND must have a minimum of two years of post-ND Industrial Training. At least five O' Level credit passes in SSCE (WAEC/NECO), GCE, or NABTEB in relevant subjects including English Language and Mathematics at not more than two sittings are also required.

For Higher National Diploma (HND) Regular II, candidates must possess a National Diploma (ND) from a recognized accredited Polytechnic or Monotechnic, five O' Level credit passes at not more than two sittings, including English Language and Mathematics, and at least one year of post-ND Industrial Training experience.

To apply, candidates should log on to the polytechnic's website, click Admission, select their programme's Application Form, and complete the initial details to obtain an Application ID. The application fee for HND Regular 1 is N15,750.00, while the application fee for ND Regular II & HND Regular II is N16,300.00. The method of screening will include a Computer Based Test (CBT) and physical screening of credentials and verification of registration documents. Any candidate who enters false or wrong information will be automatically disqualified.
