Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, has commenced its online registration for the 2026/2027 Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening exercise. Candidates who scored 160 and above in the UTME, as well as Direct Entry applicants with relevant higher qualifications, can apply. The registration window is open from Wednesday, 27th May, 2026, to Sunday, 21st June, 2026.
Eligible candidates must complete their registration through the official portal, upload necessary results on JAMB CAPS, and pay a non-refundable processing fee of ₦2,000.
To be eligible, candidates must have chosen Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, or its affiliate institutions as their first choice in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) with a pass mark of 160. Candidates who did not choose NAU as their first choice but scored 160 can apply if they change their institution at a JAMB CBT Center.
Direct Entry candidates must hold an OND/HND/First Degree or A' level in relevant disciplines and subjects. They must also ensure their academic transcripts are forwarded to the Registrar, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, and submit hard copies of their JAMB E-slip, O'level result/s, OND/HND/First Degree or A'level result/s to the office of Deputy Registrar (Admissions) by Sunday, 21st June, 2026.

Change of course or institution into Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, ends on Sunday, 14th June, 2026. Candidates must upload their O'level result/s (and A' level result/s for DE candidates) on JAMB CAPS and monitor their phone, email, and the UNIZIK website for updates.
To apply, candidates should visit apply.unizik.edu.ng, create an account if needed, log in with their JAMB Registration number, and follow the application progress steps. A non-refundable fee of ₦2,000 is required.
The University warns that admissions are not for sale and will not be liable for fraudulent payments. Candidates should report any demand for unauthorized payments or bribes for criminal prosecution.
