The Governing Council of Abia State University has approved the promotion of 17 senior academics to the rank of Professors and 24 to the position of Readers. This decision was made at the 160th Regular meeting of the council, following the consideration of reports from External Assessors and recommendations of the Appointments and Promotions Committee (Academic).
