OAU Post-UTME 2026: Registration Procedures

Jun, 17Views: 24

Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, has announced the commencement of registration for the 2026 Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (Post-UTME) screening exercise. Candidates who made the university their first choice in the 2026 UTME and scored 200 and above, as well as those who applied for Direct Entry (DE), are eligible to register.

Registration will start on Tuesday, 16th June, and end on Friday, 14th August 2026. To register, candidates are required to follow a series of steps. The first step is to visit https://eportal2.oauife.edu.ng/ug/admissions, where they will select 'Verify your Details' and provide their JAMB Registration Number, email, and phone number.

After verifying their details, candidates will proceed to make payment via the specified payment gateway. They can make payment via card, transfer, USSD, or physical bank visit. Once payment has been confirmed, their login details will be sent to their provided email address. If a candidate does not receive their login details, they can return to the portal, click 'Confirm Your Payment', and enter their JAMB Registration Number/Email to validate and receive their login credentials.

The next step is to log in to the portal using their JAMB Registration Number as their username and password. After logging in, candidates will click 'My Application', fill in all required details, and review all supplied information carefully. Finally, they will submit their application.

Additional guidelines for eligibility, including those for UTME, DE, Foreign, and Candidates with disabilities, are available on the university's admission portal. Candidates are also required to present themselves physically at designated locations for the screening exercise and must provide accurate information, as false information or incorrect credentials will lead to disqualification.

The Post-UTME screening exercise will take place from 1st to 5th September 2026, and candidates are advised to check their screening schedule on the OAU admissions portal from Monday, 24th August 2026. The Post-UTME screening fee is two thousand naira (N2,000.00) only, excluding portal access charges. Candidates are warned against patronizing POST-UTME or admission agents, as the university does not endorse or encourage such practices. All enquiries should be forwarded to postutme2026@oauife.edu.ng.
