The Federal University of Agriculture, Bassambiri, located in Nembe Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, has commenced its admission process for the 2026/2027 academic session.
In a statement, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Reginald Inodu Keremah, invites all JAMB/UTME candidates who scored 150 and above to apply for admission into FUAB's degree programmes across its four faculties.
To apply, applicants must first initiate a Change of Institution to Federal University of Agriculture Bassambiri on the official JAMB portal before proceeding to complete their FUAB screening application online.
Eligibility and required documents include UTME candidates who scored 150 and above in the 2026 UTME and selected FUAB as their first choice, with a minimum of five credit passes including English Language and Mathematics in O'Level (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB). Applicants must also complete the online screening process and meet departmental requirements.
FUAB offers programmes under four faculties: Agricultural Sciences, Science, Environmental Resources Management, and Engineering. These faculties include a range of programmes such as Agricultural Economics, Animal Science, Crop Science, Soil Science, Fisheries & Aquaculture, and more.
To apply, candidates should visit the university's e-campus website, ensure FUAB is selected as their first choice on JAMB CAPS, complete the online biodata form, upload required documents, pay a ₦2,000 screening fee via Paystack, and print their acknowledgment slip.
