The admission screening exercise for the 2026/2027 academic session at Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike is now open.

All candidates who scored 150 and above in the 2026/2027 UTME examinations and made Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike their first choice are eligible. Candidates who applied to other universities can change to MOUAU as their first choice at the JAMB Portal and then apply accordingly.

To register, candidates must proceed as follows: visit the University Website at www.mouau.edu.ng, click on the 2026/2027 Admission Screening banner, and then click on the buttons below. Enter your JAMB Registration Number and a valid email address and phone number for records and contact purposes. This leads to the Remita Payment Platform where an RRR number is generated for payment of N2000.00.

Payment can be made by debit/credit card or by taking the RRR number to any bank nationwide and depositing cash. If you encounter any challenges after payment, kindly send an email to the University Portal Office at portal@mouau.edu.ng. After payment, validate your payment and proceed with the registration process.

Register by filling out an online Application form, selecting the proposed department, and providing other required details. Note that some fields are prefilled and cannot be changed. All candidates should upload their WAEC/NECO/NABTEB results to any Accredited JAMB CBT Centre.

Kindly note that O’Level results and the number of sittings are weighted. The O’level field has been disabled on the university website, so candidates are advised to upload their O’level result in a Verified JAMB CBT Centre. The University downloads your O’level from the Jamb CAPS and uploads it on their portal.

Candidates awaiting 2026 WAEC/NECO/NABTEB results are advised not to register till these results are available. As soon as the results are out, they are expected to register for screening. Ensure that all fields are properly filled before you submit your form.

Candidates are advised to check the University portal for their screening test results periodically after registration. Candidates should regularly check the website for further information on their admission status.
